I am a psychotherapist who provides therapy for individuals ages 13+ in Washington State.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 7 years in healthcare working with individuals and families facing health challenges in various settings including hospice, cancer care, and pediatric settings.
Through my experiences, I’ve seen the incredible strength people possess when they’re given the right support, and I know the healing power of understanding, compassion, and tailored care.
I use a holistic, person-centered, and integrative approach that views you as a whole- acknowledging the physical, emotional, and social elements of your well-being.
Originally from the Midwest, I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Winona State University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
My approach:
Holistic
A holistic approach to therapy recognizes that mental health challenges don’t exist in isolation; they are often influenced by physical health, emotional well-being, and life experiences. By using this approach, I ensure every aspect of your being is considered in your healing process.
Person Centered
A person-centered approach places you at the heart of the therapeutic process and uses your inner resources to heal and grow. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to achieve personal growth and self-acceptance.
Integrative
An integrative approach combines elements from various therapeutic modalities. By blending different modalities, we have the ability to address your emotional, mental, and behavioral challenges in a way that feels right for you. Therapy should feel flexible, adaptive, and aligned with your personal goals.
